Hook On is a responsive website that tracks fish populations and their spawning routes based on your current location. The website allows local Bay Area fishermen to know when is it the best time to fish a certain species or what can they sustainably fish without wiping out the entire population. This idea came to life as to the cause of not being able to catch Alaskan King Salmon anymore. The King Salmon has been overfished and now the species is dwindling and the size of the fish is much smaller than what it used to be 15 years ago. This project will help keep the fish ecosystem in a better balance.
